The Nutcracker Young Performers Auditions for Boys & Girls
Open to Cincinnati Ballet Otto M. Budig Academy Students and the Community
Cincinnati Ballet is looking for talented young performers to be a part of this timeless holiday tradition. All auditions will be held at Cincinnati Ballet Studios, 1555 Central Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45214.
Children must be eight years old by August 17, 2019 to audition. All children need to be available for possible call back auditions for all characters on SUNDAY, AUGUST 18, 2019 from 9:30 am - 5:30 pm. Auditioners will be notified if they are needed for call backs following the conclusion of all auditions on Saturday, August 17. Anticipated rehearsal schedules will be made available at the audition. If you cannot make the performances or the mandatory rehearsals, please do not audition. Please note: Not every role will be called to every rehearsal.
Casting is subject to current costume sizes. Children will be auditioning for roles in their costume size range. You will be notified of results by email by August 21. Rehearsals will begin August 24, 2019. Parents will be required to attend a mandatory informational meeting.
